As a swing shift Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in organizing our night housekeeping crew and overseeing cleaning operations. Collaborating closely with the Housekeeping Services Manager, you'll coach, motivate, and train our dedicated staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Your dynamic leadership will drive the team to achieve our goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.What You'll Do Ensure staff performance meets Housekeeping Services cleaning standards through inspections and training. Conducts monthly inventory and assists with orders of chemicals, paper products and other supplies as needed. Ensure all housekeeping machinery functions properly; preventative maintenance is conducted on schedule, faults are reported, and repairs scheduled. Complete employee performance reviews and corrective actions. Communicate all HR related issues to Housekeeping Services Manager and Facilities Director. Complies with all regulatory laws and MAC safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates safe work practices and trains Emergency Response procedures. Conducts monthly safety trainings for staff. Identifies and reports unsafe or hazardous work conditions. Demonstrates the importance of providing quality service to members. Cultivates, maintains and enhances interdepartmental relationships. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs housekeeping duties. Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsThe role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Additionally, proficiency in keyboarding and sitting for extended periods is required.What You’ll Bring Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated organizational and supervisory skills are essential. Previous management or supervisory experience is advantageous. Industry Experience: Five years of housekeeping experience in a similar setting is preferred. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of custodial equipment, chemicals, and supplies is required. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey messages both verbally and in writing. Team Empowerment: Proven ability to motivate and develop staff, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
