Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C Squared Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.\r\nLocation: Auburn NH\r\nLevel: Mid-level\r\nC Squared Systems is currently seeking a mid-level RF Field Technician to join our team. One of the main responsibilities for the Field Technician will be assisting with the installation and construction of various distributed antennas systems. The candidate will also become familiar with RF concepts and best practices and be exposed to a variety of test equipment. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a team to ensure the systems are installed per the procedures and regulations mandated by the customer. The candidate must have previous construction experience and be very comfortable interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis. This is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to be on their feet throughout the day. This position will require the individual to be in the field 95% of the time. The candidate must be available to travel with potential overnight stays up to 50% of the time and be available for night shifts/weekends when needed. This is a full time hourly position.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nInstallation of various coaxial cable types of various sizes (1/2”, 1/4”, 7/8”, etc.).\r\nInstallation of various fiber cables and fiber heads (single/multi-mode, LC, SC, FC, ST, etc.).\r\nPerform cable terminations and fusion splicing.\r\nPerform a variety of testing such as sweep and PIM.\r\nWork hands on with spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment.\r\nPerform site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs.\r\nInstallation and repair of various DAS equipment from a variety of manufacturers.\r\nMaintain test equipment and tools for continuous use.\r\nTravel to various job sites.\r\nRequirements\r\n2 year college degree or related coursework a plus.\r\n3 to 4 years of construction experience. Previous experience with DAS construction and other cellular systems is preferred.\r\nGeneral construction knowledge and know-how.
