We distribute programming across major connected TV platforms and are expanding into new podcast and talk-format channels.We’re looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Content Operations Coordinator to support the launch and ongoing management of a new Podcast Channel. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys media workflows, digital operations, and working behind the scenes to help content go live smoothly.What You’ll DoYou’ll support the day-to-day operations of getting content prepared, published, and channel- ready across our distribution platforms. Responsibilities include:Manage incoming media assets, including video files, images, and related materialsPrepare content for publishing by generating captions, organizing files, and ensuring assets meet required specificationsIngest, create the program and schedule, the content for our linear channel using FrequencyUse internal tools and workflows to upload and distribute content across multiple platformsMonitor processing, ingest, and delivery status to ensure titles go live correctly and on timePerform quality control checks on content, metadata, and visual assets. Assemble finalized programming by preparing episodes for channel playout, including ad break placement and runtime adjustmentsTroubleshoot workflow issues and escalate technical problems when neededHelp improve operational efficiency through organization, consistency, and process feedbackCommunicate progress, priorities, and any blockers with the internal teamWhat We’re Looking ForRequired SkillsStrong video editing skills (Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut, etc.). Experience delivering and scheduling content for TV / Podcasts platforms. Basic technical confidence running scripts or command-line tools.Reliable internet connection and ability to download/upload large files.Attention to detail and organization.Strong written communication and ability to work independently.Preferred ExperienceFamiliarity with Frequency Studio. Experience with Python scripts or automation tools.Experience in streaming, FAST channels, OTT, or digital media operations.Familiarity with subtitles/captions (.SRT).Understanding of ad breaks, programming clocks and linear scheduling.CompensationFreelance / contract compensation based on experience and availability.ScheduleFlexible hours, but responsiveness and meeting delivery deadlines are important.
