The candidate will be expected to interact with the client and troubleshoot issues with the system. They will also be required to identify and resolve mid to complex problems, create documentation, and provide solutions to the client. They will also be required to understand business processes and communicate effectively with the implementation team.\r\nRole And Responsibilities\r\nSupporting the warehouse management system and clients.\r\nTroubleshooting day to day application and/or database related issues.\r\nSupporting enterprise software and databases in production environments.\r\nDeveloping a comprehensive library of support and training documentation and resolution guides.\r\nEvolving into a subject matter expert.\r\nSupporting and troubleshooting basic database features such as queries, functions, views, and stored procedures.\r\nSupporting and troubleshooting basic issues with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).\r\nWork hours will take place during EST business hours.\r\nQualifications\r\nAbility to build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members, customers and vendors.\r\nGood communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written mediums.\r\nKnowledge of Agile work practices.\r\nAbility to organize own work based on the priorities established.\r\nDocumented and proven experience in client service.\r\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in an IT related environment.\r\nMinimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft's SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI) development.\r\nStrong understanding and experience manipulating relational database schemas.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills in English to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team and end users in both technical and non-technical environments.\r\nProfessional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with team members and end users.\r\nMust be a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as within a team environment.\r\nRequirements\r\nTechnical education, Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\r\nExperience developing for or supporting Microsoft's SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI) stack.\r\nBasic knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).\r\nBasic knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).\r\nBasic knowledge of SQL Server Database Administrator experience; performance tuning.\r\nNot only does Datex Inc. accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community.
