{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"82eea5f1497d9ea75e7b57d9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/82eea5f1497d9ea75e7b57d9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/82eea5f1497d9ea75e7b57d9","title":"Program Specialist","description":"Overview:\nPOSITION TITLE (Oracle title)\nPROGRAM SPECIALIST\n\nWORKING TITLE\nProgram Specialist\n\nSCHOOL/DEPARTMENT\nTitle I\n\nLOCATION\nCrossroads I, Cary, NC\n\nPAY GRADE\nNoncertified Grade 24\n\nFLSA STATUS\nNonexempt\n\nELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT\nNo\n\nWORK WEEK SCHEDULE\nMonday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is eligible for hybrid telework workweek\n\nPOSITION PURPOSE:\nProvides support and assistance that will facilitate the effective management and operation of the responsibilities of the Title I office.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)\nConsiderable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point; Google Apps;\nEffective time management skills;\nExcellent customer service skills;\nExcellent proofreading skills;\nCritical thinking and problem solving skills;\nAbility to work proactively and recommend more efficient methods of productivity within the office;\nAbility to work independently without close supervision;\nAbility to analyze and disaggregate date;\nAbility to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback;\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office staff, external agencies, parents, and the community.\n\nEDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE\nOne year of post-high school education;\nThree years of successful work experience in data management;\nExperience in project and data management;\nSuch other qualifications as the Board may establish.\n\nCERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS\nNone\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nData Analyst experience;\nGoogle Workspace Certification and Microsoft Office certifications.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManages and monitors Title I Student Achievement Data (review and retrieve student data EOG, EOC, Amplify data, Oasis, etc.)\nPerforms central office operations of the program.\nCreates reports for administrators and staff using student data.\nUses graphs and other visuals to show student growth over time.\nReviews enrollment verification of non-public school students.\nAssists with program compliance.\nTracks Direct Certification data from CNS monthly and over time.\nEnters student demographics to populate CCIP.\nProduces contracts with providers with all the mandated documentation.\nInitiates and organizes required data for Comparability Report.\nInitiates and organizes necessary data for Equity Report.\nUses acquired data to draw conclusions and connections.\nFollows-up with N & D report due dates.\nMaintains Title I site and update as often as necessary and/or requested.\nAssists with the implementation of professional development and meetings.\nCommunicates with potential presenters and arrange contracts and logistics.\nLocates and secures appropriate meeting space.\nEnsures meeting materials are prepared.\nAssists with registration.\nFollows up with presenter regarding requirements.\nAssists Fiscal Senior Administrator to make conference reservations, including travel and registrations.\nAssists with Office Operations.\nManages and coordinate office supplies.\nOversees poster maker and laminator use including timely order of supplies.\nWorks with Title I Director and Senior Administrators on projects.\nExhibits initiative in working with secretary to maintain mail room schedule.\nPerforms other related duties, as assigned.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThis job operates in a professional office and school environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers. The position, at times, requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical requirements are consistent with those for medium work.
