Buyer IILocation: Austin, TXDuration: 12+ monthsPay Rate: $30-31/hrOverview:We are seeking an experienced Buyer II to support purchasing operations for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing procurement activities for spare parts, assemblies, and components while working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:Process purchase orders for parts, assemblies, and componentsReview and analyze vendor quotes, parts lists, and procurement dataSource, evaluate, and negotiate supplier bids based on price, delivery, quality, and termsManage open purchase orders to drive supplier performance and delivery timelinesConduct supplier evaluations and performance reviewsLead supplier meetings and support ongoing business reviewsPartner with internal teams to support cost reduction and process improvement initiativesGenerate reports, metrics, and procurement strategiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of relevant work experience5+ years of purchasing experience, ideally with a focus on logistics or supply chainExperience working with manufacturing documentation (BOMs, specifications, etc.)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookExcellent communication and negotiation skillsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldExperience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
