You will resolve order product shortages, manage order cuts, and communicate with customers while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Occasional travel by automobile and airplane may be required for business purposes.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nAllocate orders and release work to the warehouse floor to balance workflow and optimize productivity.\nResolve order product shortages and manage order cuts while communicating updates to customers.\nPrioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.\nEnsure dock office utilizes inbound and outbound dock optimization functionality for each receipt and order.\nRun labor reports and review with Dock Supervisors and Office Manager to monitor performance.\nReview and update base priorities, work zone assignments, product code velocity zones, and pick locations in collaboration with Operations Manager.\nActively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\n\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience required.\nProficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.\nKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.\nAbility to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot system problems required.\n\nWhat Could Set You Apart\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.\nEffective verbal and written communication.\nAbility to deliver attentive customer service.\nAbility to work collaboratively and respond appropriately to feedback.\nFamiliarity with desktop computers.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nRequires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.\nRequires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.\nRequires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.\nMay require travel by automobile and airplane for business.\nMay require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.\nMay require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\n\nAmericold is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
