This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team, work on challenging and varied cases, and develop your career in a supportive environment with a clear path for growth.About the Role As a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, you will collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on a wide range of employment matters, both transactional and litigation-based, representing employers across various industries.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a variety of labor and employment matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour claimsDraft and review employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and separation agreementsConduct legal research and analysis on evolving employment laws and regulationsRepresent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, and hearingsAssist with litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositionsProvide day-to-day employment counsel to employer clientsCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless workflowStay current on changes in California and federal employment lawQualifications2+ years of labor & employment experience at a law firmActive California Bar admission requiredStrong legal writing, research, and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal research platformsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneouslyMust be able to pass a background checkBenefitsCompensation: $150,000+, commensurate with experiencePotential BonusHybridHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Life insurancePaid time offEmployee assistance program
