Our Software Developers use agile software development methodology to develop and maintain enterprise applications, utilizing an Oracle backend with PL/SQL-based database programming and user interface programming in C#.\n\nHow You Will Make a Difference\n\nProvide software development programming, design, integration, documentation, configuration management, testing, release, and user support for all program software and system engineering.\nDevelop and maintain applications in accordance with current CMMI for Development Level 3 standards.\nDevelop software tools to support testing, analysis, and data management.\nProvide software maintenance to ensure continued operational capability of the test systems software.\nEnsure software development plans include standards, configuration management, quality assurance, and lifecycle processes.\nDevelop lifecycle artifacts to support Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the software by any designated outside organization.\nProvide sustainment for currently fielded software and accomplish software redesign as required.\nAttend and participate in system requirements, design, and milestone reviews\nEnsure user sites are continuously operational and that fielded maintenance upgrades fully meet user needs.\nEnsure currently fielded legacy systems remain fully operational while changes are being made to the software, and that legacy and updated sites operate as software updates are fielded.\nEnsure system maintenance and redesign are accomplished with minimal disruption at user locations.\nExplore and document potential additional hardware and software test enhancements in anticipation of upgrades to the next release.\nPerform and provide guidance on all phases of the software development lifecycle.\nProvide guidance to less-experienced software developers in creating models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application.\nPerform and provide guidance on software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.\nProvide relevant analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, and status.\nThoroughly document software and system processes for future maintenance and updates.\nDevelop new features using WPF with the PRISM framework.\nWork directly with customers to gather requirements and design windows and views based on concept designs.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired:\n\nBS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience, certifications, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nActive DoD Secret security clearance.\nExperience with C#, Oracle/SQL, and Git source control.\nExperience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and SQL for application data interaction.\nExperience with WPF and the PRISM framework.\nExperience with Azure DevOps and the Git Flow branching model.\nExperience using Fortify, SonarLint, or other static code analysis scanners.\nExperience applying secure defensive coding practices in C# application development.\n\nPreferred:\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies.\n\nAbout Inventium.io\n\nInventium.io LLC is a technical consulting and software development services company dedicated to protecting and advancing our national defense and scientific capabilities.
