Bigbelly is pursuing an ambitious development roadmap, and this position plays a visible role as the company launches new products and initiatives. It is expected that the evolving needs of the growing engineering organization will lead to new opportunities for personal and professional growth. In this role, you will be engineering our products through their development and launch, as well as ongoing sustaining engineering. As a part of that, you will be expected to be very hands-on as we build and test validation samples of our designs. You will have concrete success stories where you yourself have built and evaluated your designs. Ideally, you have experience developing, launching, and improving successful products that incorporate sheet metal, molded plastics, electronics, and batteries to create an entire systems solution. You will also have a proven track record of analyzing quality and performance data, sleuthing to the root cause(s) of issues, and identifying improvement opportunities.
