Plus Benefits & Bonus.\nLocation: West of Houston, TX\nCompany Description: Our client's specialty synthetic wax segment produces specialty polyethylene and poly alpha olefin waxes and provides custom processing services. The specialty polyethylene waxes are used in markets from paints and inks to adhesives, coatings, and PVC lubricants. The highly specialized synthetic poly alpha olefin waxes are used in applications such as toner in printers and as additives for candles providing rigidity and retention of fragrances. These waxes are sold in solid form as pastilles or, for large adhesive companies, in bulk liquid form.\nPosition Description: The Process Safety Engineer provides regulatory and compliance support to our clients Hydrocarbons and Wax facilities. This position develops and implements PSM (Process Safety Management) and RMP (Risk Management Program) programs to keep the company in compliance and continually improve. This person will participate in the development of new tolling projects and ensures the site meets all process safety standards as new projects are implemented. Don't miss out on an amazing opportunity with a company that is growing and going through some exciting times!\nResponsibilities: Oversees PSM, RMP, Facility Siting, Mechanical Integrity, Alarm Management, and related safety programs.\nFacilitates PHAs (Process Hazard Analysis) at required regulatory frequencies and conducts LOPA studies for high-risk findings.\nTracks & updates PSM-related action items from MOCs, PSSRs, incidents, and PHAs in the company database.\nSupervises contract resources for PSM services and ensures alignment with regulatory standards.\nConducts audits of PSM elements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.\nMaintains & updates PSM procedures, including those for new tolling processes.\nWorks with management to ensure process safety and risk management programs are effectively implemented.\nEngages with regulators & industry groups such as OSHA, EPA, and SOCMA.\nQualifications: Proficient in PHA facilitation and PHA Works.\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, RMP, and other RAGAGEP standards related to process safety.\nExcellent analytical & problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication & interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and non-routine callouts.\nMeets physical requirements, including lifting 40 lbs., climbing ladders, and wearing PPE.\nAbility to respond to visual and audible alarms.\nEducation & Certifications: B.S.
