You will write clean, tested Java code as part of a collaborative development team.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a solid coder, eager to learn and good at working with others. You should be comfortable taking a feature from requirements to working code with guidance from senior developers.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\nDevelops, tests and maintains Java application code.\nBuilds and updates web services and REST APIs.\nWrites SQL to work with relational databases.\nFixes defects and supports production issues.\nWrites unit tests and takes part in code reviews.\nParticipates in sprint planning, stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies.\nDocuments code and technical changes.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n3+ years of Java development experience.\nExperience with Spring or Spring Boot.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2.\nExperience with Git and a build tool such as Maven or Gradle.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment.\nContinually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.\nExperience supporting federal government contracts.\n\nCompensation: $68,216 – $75,795 per year\n\nKreative Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
