Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience with adult patients in acute care settings Proficiency in ventilator management, intubation/extubation, CVL placement and management, Foley catheter management, tube feedings, IV medication titration, vasoactive drip management, arterial line care, and EVD drains Strong knowledge of stroke protocols and neuro/trauma patient care Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to onboarding Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system Ability to float to Progressive Care Units or Med/Surg with ratios of 1:3 and 1:5 respectively Prior experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary ICU environment Preferred Education and Experience: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice At least 2 years of recent ICU experience in adult critical care Other Requirements: Willingness to work rotating shifts or ) including every other weekend and some holidays Ability to work shifts based on different schedule cycles (e.g., 2/2 or 5/2 rotations) Must be separated for at least 1 year if previously employed as a permanent staff RN Reliable transportation and full compliance with hospital dress code and badge policies May be required to work in neutral or designated scrubs (grays or blacks) and wear badges visibly at all times A rewarding opportunity with excellent compensation of $52.26/hour, competitive benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, and an engaging work environment awaits you.
