We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team.As Senior Security Engineer, your responsibility is to ensure the data, devices, and systems are secure, resilient, and compliant. Your teammates are a global team of security engineers, software developers, and technical program managers dedicated to continuously raising the security bar.Key job responsibilitiesRaise the security bar during secure design, architecture, and code reviews with your development customers.Become an expert consultant, advocate, and business-enabler for software development customers and stakeholders, educating on secure practices and collaborating on solutions.Create opportunities to improve developer velocity and program efficiency while maintaining our high security and privacy standards.Build solutions that automate Application Security functions; and processes improve the team's Application Security Operations.Collaborate with partners across Amazon to develop scalable solutions to security problemsAct as a technical leader, educator, and mentor for less experienced Security Engineers.Period on-call responsibilities, and occasional travel as required.About the teamAbout Amazon SecurityDiverse ExperiencesAmazon Security values diverse experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
