Instruction may be delivered on-campus, off-campus, or online and may be during the day and/or evening as dictated by student demand and departmental needs.\nDevelop and manage the class syllabus and ensure that the syllabus meets department and college standards.\nPlan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.\nAssess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations.\nAssist/mentor students as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field from an ABET accredited U.S. institution of higher learning with a major field of study in construction engineering, civil engineering, construction management, industrial engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, technology management, or a closely related discipline is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the teaching field from an ABET accredited U.S. institution of higher learning with a major field of study in construction engineering, civil engineering, construction management, industrial engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, technology management, or a closely related discipline is required to teach graduate courses.\nKnowledge / Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to: Multi-task and work cooperatively with others.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:\nCandidates who hold current relevant professional credentials.\nCollege or University teaching experience.\nEvidence of teaching excellence.\nPrior relevant industry experience.\nOnline or hybrid teaching experience.\nSUPERVISION OF OTHERS:\nN/A\nAll positions are security-sensitive.
