Job Description
Field Supervisor Summary: The Field Supervisor will be tasked with managing and driving the construction activities of projects while interacting with customers, trade partners, building inspectors, and other ECC associates to deliver quality product on time and in full. The Field Supervisor has a critical role in creating a Truly Outstanding Customer Experience. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are crucial for this position. Essential Responsibilities: • Accountable for managing projects from start to completion in accordance with the ECC Construction Schedule. • Delivering all projects with zero defects at time of completion • Coordinating and managing Trade Partners to deliver high quality projects while meeting budgets • Coordinating with customers to ensure issues are quickly resolved • Utilize effective time management skills while calling on and walking required inspections as well as creating and managing multiple punch lists & QC items • Maintaining a clean jobsite for trade partners, customers, and municipalities • Enforces OSHA safety requirements and ECC safety program • Mentoring and training with other associates to learn new skills as needed for advancement • Continually demonstrates a commitment to our documented quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement • Identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers • Participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change. • Complies with all company policies and procedures • Orders and inspects materials delivered to site • Capable of suppling daily updates though iPad • Complete required company specific training as needed. • Show proficiency in all relevant scopes. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: •2 years’ experience in production building of residential projects or equivalent schooling • Experience and knowledge in managing projects independently with minimal supervision • Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family, and commercial construction • Excellent organizational skills required • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work • Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline • Strong work ethic towards accomplishing goals and ability to work in a team environment • Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office, and general internet) • Must be able to manage and QC all four scopes installed today • Must be able to construction plans as needed by scope • Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs independently • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test • 30 Hour OSHA Certified (required within 3 months of hire) Other Requirements: • High School degree or equivalent • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle requiredaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
