You'll work closely with our product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure that our platform, powered by cutting-edge technology, is not only robust but also delivers actionable insights that enhance user engagement and learning outcomes.\r\nBuild and Optimize Data Infrastructure: Manage and implement scalable data pipelines using Airflow for orchestration and dbt for transformation to ensure efficient data flow and processing.\r\nEnable Data-Driven Decisions: By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop data models and metrics that facilitate critical analysis for business decisions.\r\nEmpowerment: Proactively evaluate and evolve our tool stack to support stakeholders to make answering questions with data as frictionless as possible.\r\nCollaboration and Systems Thinking: As a central node on our team, you'll partner with product managers, analysts, and other engineers to design data solutions and processes for business needs.\r\n5+ years of relevant experience\r\nData Modeling: Deep understanding of big data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), theories, principles, and practices. Ability to design, implement, and manage data warehouses and cloud pipelines (GCP, AWS, dbt) effectively.\r\nProgramming Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and comfort working with Python. Ability to write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code.\r\nTooling: Experience managing data platform tooling, such as data ingestion, reverse ETL, visualization, data observability, alerting, etc.\r\nBusiness Acumen: Translate stakeholder needs into robust data models and metrics with a deep understanding of the product and business model.\r\nDebugging Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex challenges methodically, including data inconsistency issues.\r\nEffective Communication: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
