Exhaust - Welder / Die Cast Team Lead

Job SummaryThis is a full-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. with a 30-minute lunch break. Shifts may vary depending on business needs.Reports toProduct Strategy ManagerEssential FunctionsMonitor inventory levels of exhaust, diecast and bumper components to ensure inventory is accurate and work with purchasing to order items as needed and correct quantities are being orderedLead others to ensure the quality and accuracy of items being producedMeasuring, cutting and bending pipeRunning the CNC tube bender to bend specific parts for pipes, mufflers, and exhaust componentsSetting up and adjusting equipment including exhaust benders, fixtures, forming machines, diecast machine, bumper fixtures.Troubleshoot issues with equipment and adjust or repair as required.Manufacturing of exhaust components including welding pipes, mufflers, and miscellaneous parts for the exhaust departmentKeeping manufacturing department clear of trash and recyclingMaintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.We focus on excellent customer service and we take pride and great care in every order we fill for our customers.RequirementsKey skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited toComputer Skills: will train with our ERP (NAV) and Warehouse (Accellos)High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skillsBasic knowledge of math.Use, carry, set up and climb laddersOperate Fork Lift truck and hand truckHighly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to maintain grace under pressure and contribute to a positive work environmentSeeing to read and review material for accuracy.Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workersAbility to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to take instructions and complete given tasksReliable and punctualWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a warehouse environment. This warehouse is climate controlled.Physical DemandsThe individual will be lifting up to 75 pounds consistently, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling etc. in a safe and efficient manner. He/she must have dexterity of hands to operate various manufacturing equipment. He/she may spend time using computers, so must have dexterity of hands to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.Schedule and AvailabilityThis is a full-time non-exempt position.
