As an Automation Developer, you will play a pivotal role supporting and streamlining business operations by automating processes using Python. This role involves working with email systems, storage systems (Sharepoint, Azure Fileshares, etc.), document conversions (HTML to PDF), APIs, and scripting in Unix environments.\r\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\r\nDesign and implement Python scripts to automate repetitive business tasks.\r\nRead and process emails using Python libraries such as imaplib, poplib, or exchangelib.\r\nConvert documents (Word, HTML, etc.) to PDF using packages like WeasyPrint, pdfkit, or docx2pdf.\r\nPerform API requests and integrations (REST/JSON) using requests or similar libraries.\r\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing automation scripts.\r\nWrite and maintain clear, well-documented code.\r\nCollaborate with team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.\r\nUse Unix shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for simple file management, job scheduling, and script orchestration.\r\nDesign database schemas for automation applications.\r\nCreate Grafana and Loki dashboards for monitoring the performance of automation applications.\r\nAs an Automation Developer III, you will be expected to be able to both take direction from management and senior developers, as well as anticipate necessary efforts and be self-directed when appropriate.
