Security Officer 2","description":"MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Security Officer 2 PSO 2 to join our team in Chantilly, VA.\nResponsibilities include but not limited to:\nProvide advice and assistance regarding a range of security issues and concerns to government and program security officers in different geographical locations\nProvides classification management, program security, information systems security, personnel security, and physical security to guide customers and industry partners\nConduct briefings and indoctrinations to a variety of audiences\nDeliver compelling and articulate recommendations on current security issues for program security decisions to Directorate and Office Directors of Security, Program Managers, and Directorate leadership\nAssist in the development of security policies and implementation procedures\nDomestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25%\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHS Diploma and 8 or more years relevant security experience or Associates and 6 or more years relevant security experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years relevant security experience or Masters and 2 years relevant security experience\nAbility to work high-level, complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion\nDemonstrated ability to identify and assess multiple sources for classification determinations control, marking, and dissemination principles and requirements to include FOIA and Pre-publication reviews\nSubstantive experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers, in support of secure and successful mission accomplishment\nFamiliarity with ICD 503, 705, DISS, and Scattered Castles\nHave a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives as well as NRO Directives and Instructions\nKnowledge of program protection methodologies and risk management principles as they relate to appropriately protecting and sharing information, missions, operations, and assets\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to assist the government in the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)\nExperience working with industrial security staffs\nSecurity Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures\nWorking knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements\nSecurity Requirements:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph\nPhysical requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery,\netc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve\ndelivering presentations\nMust be able to exchange accurate information in these
