Commercial HVAC Estimator / Sales

Northwest Mechanical is currently seeking a Commercial / indutrial HVAC estimator for our growing company. We provide installation, service, and maintenance for commercial buildings, and new construction. HVAC engineering experience preferred but not required. Northwest Mechanical offers a competitive salary plus company paid medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K. Pay Scale: $20-$40+ an hour Work Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. (flexible) Preferred Qualifications: Ability to read blueprints, understand building codes, and equipment specs Job cost and estimating experience Ability to run load calculations Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat Excellent verbal, written, grammar, listening and communication skills Highly organized with the ability to work independently Time management 2-years HVAC experience Plan & Spec, and Design-Build project experience. Familiarity with State Building Codes preferred Strong technical skillset working with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel), FastPipe, FastDuct, Trimble, Accubid, BlueBeam, and/or other estimating software knowledge is a plus Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Build relationships with general contractors, project managers, and superintendents. Schedule appointments, qualify leads, and follow up with prospects and customers. Work with our customers both internal and external to identify and provide solutions, answer questions and objections in a proficient and professional manner. Address customer concerns and maintain effective communication to ensure timelines and job starts are met. Provide and present (to individuals and in a group setting) written proposals with a detailed scope of work. Prepare and present sales agreements with the ability to review, redline, and understand customer contracts. Maintain documentation in service system, which includes but is not limited to; new leads, work orders, customer information, estimate details, communication, paperwork, and job packets. Work directly with the Service Manager on commercial maintenance bids.
