Apply now for this exciting opportunity!\nThe Process Engineer is responsible for development and launch of new manufacturing processes, optimization of existing manufacturing processes, and resolution of manufacturing process issues.\nThe role of Process Engineer will support a specific Manufacturing Business Unit in the Ethicon MedTech manufacturing facility in Cornelia, Georgia.\nKey Role Responsibilities:\nFunctions as the primary engineering owner for an assigned manufacturing process or processes\nProvides written oral reports on process performance\nCollaborates with Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance to resolve technical issues in manufacturing processes and equipment.\nInvestigates Product / Process Nonconformances and leads in execution of corrective actions\nActs as a safety champion by training personnel on process hazards and investigating safety incidents or potential safety issues\nLeads continuous improvement initiatives in assigned area\nSupports in implementation of new processes, process transfers, and process modifications.\nCoordinates validation activities for new process/equipment introductions and process/equipment changes\nEnsures fulfillment of all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements in engineering activities.\nExperience and Education\nRequired and Preferred Skills:\nA minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textiles Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent is required. Internship, co-op, or other experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) is preferred\nFamiliarity with statistical analysis is beneficial\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.\nThis position will be located onsite in Cornelia, GA. 10% travel domestically may be required.\nOther:\nExpected travel for this position is 10%\nThe attendance policy for this position is fully Onsite\nJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
