A Night Crew Yard Worker will handle all our products. All work will be completed safely and accurately with the customer and companies’ best interests in mind.\nEssential Functions:\nAccurately pull material for delivery.\nTo complete the delivery orders, a night crew employee will be required to use a forklift, overhead crane, propane torch, chop saw, tape measure, caliper, and a bander.\nThe Yard Worker will gather all carbon, aluminum, or stainless-steel then will bundle the material and stage it on the designated delivery rack.\nWhen pulling is completed the employee will load the orders onto a bobtail or flatbed trailer from a load list.\nComply with all safety guidelines.\nWrap/package all material.\nGeneral yard clean up.\nMaintain equipment with daily checklists.\nAny other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nQualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:\nMinimum Education Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum Experience Preferred: 1 year forklift experience.\nSkills Required:\nRead/Write English Language.\nForklift, overhead crane, propane torch.\nBe able to measure using Caliper/tape measurer.\nAbility to work independently.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nAttention to detail.\nPhysical Job Description:\nTypical Working Conditions:\nWarehouse/outside environment. Will be in the elements, such as cold, heat, rain, wind, fog, etc.\nMay be exposed to chemicals and airborne particles.\nNoise levels Vary.\nFast-paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity\nLifting up to 50lbs\nEquipment Used:\nForklift, overhead cranes, Hubtex, PPE, propane torch, Anver, PVC Machine, measuring tape, caliper, other handheld tools.\nEssential Physical Tasks:\nEmployees will use their hands to pull material, stack material, and will use their hands to move materials.
