As such, the default assumption for employees and partners is a hybrid schedule: some in-office presence and some work from home days absent certain essential in-office roles that require five (5) days/week in-office.\nPosition summary: Under the direction of the Director of Practice Management the Practice Management Coordinator is responsible for providing day to-day administrative assistance to support the functions of this department. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPosition responsibilities:\nManage schedules and calendars to coordinate meetings with various constituencies, prioritizing appropriately\nAssist with department projects, including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and\nother reports related to practice management and performance\nOrganize and maintain departmental files and work product – including electronic documents in the firm’s document management system (iManage)\nAssist team in formulating and implementing departmental administrative policies, practices,\nprocedures and long-term goals\nSupport in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting sensitive data to deliver actionable insights for key project\nAssist in preparing expense reports, department invoices, and make travel arrangements, as necessary\nSupport department billing and collections processes and provide ad hoc financial analysis\nAll other duties as assigned or required\nSkills and experience:\nRequired:\nAfter orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications\nAvailable to work overtime, as required\n2+ years of applicable prior administrative experience\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree\nPrior law firm experience\nCompetencies:\nExcellent attention to detail\nAdaptable and responsive, able to shift priorities quickly in a dynamic business environment\nExcellent organizational, communication (verbal and listening) and writing skills\nStrong ability to assess situations and make well-informed, timely decisions\nTeam-player with a strong commitment to shared goals\nStrong judgment\nUnwavering ability to handle and maintain confidentiality regarding firm information, projects, client data\nHigh level of professionalism and ability to work well with others (co-workers, attorneys, and vendors)\nCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices.\nEOE\nThe expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $31.50 - $41.00 ($65,520.00 - $85,280.00 annually).
