This position will provide technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, production support, and system enhancements.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleTools, SQL, and customized enterprise environments, along with the ability to work directly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop technical design specifications based on business and functional requirements.\nConfigure and customize PeopleSoft applications to meet customer requirements.\nAnalyze, develop, code, test, and implement new software functionality and enhancements to existing applications.\nTest and validate completed solutions to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements.\nCreate and maintain complete, accurate technical and functional documentation in accordance with program standards.\nProvide ongoing production support for customer PeopleSoft applications, including troubleshooting, program analysis, testing, issue resolution, and system enhancements.\nProvide Tier 2 application support and assist with the resolution of escalated technical and functional issues.\nSupport functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, release management, and deployment activities.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to identify requirements and develop effective solutions.\nSupport production activities outside normal business hours when required.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of relevant experience.\nAn additional four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nExtensive experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM).\nStrong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.62+ within a three-tier architecture.\nStrong functional and technical experience with SQL.\nExperience developing across the PeopleTools suite, including:\nFluid Components and Pages\nApplication Packages and Classes\nApplication Engine\nIntegration Broker\nIsolated Customizations\nApplication Designer\nExperience with batch processing, PeopleSoft security, and system configuration.\nExperience developing and executing PeopleSoft SQL and Queries.\nFunctional PeopleSoft experience within complex, integrated, and highly customized environments.\nDemonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.\nExperience creating and maintaining project documentation, including:\nFunctional Requirements Documents\nRequirements Traceability Matrices\nTest Plans and Test Cases\nInterface Control Documents\nCustomer Presentations\nExperience executing test cases, supporting User Acceptance Testing, and documenting and resolving defects.\nExpertise in production support, issue resolution, functional testing, UAT, release management, and system enhancements.\nAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical teams, non-technical business stakeholders, and external vendors.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple concurrent requests.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nExperience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) systems, Intelligence Community (IC) workflows, and/or DIA mission data.\nExperience with the Federal Information Security Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM).\nExperience with development and collaboration tools such as Confluence and Git.\nWork Environment\n\nThis position is based in Herndon, Virginia and requires full-time onsite work in a SCIF.
