This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing CNC programs for both lathe and milling machines, ensuring high precision and efficiency in production.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and optimize CNC programs using Fanuc, SolidWorks, CAM, ESPRIT, Mastercam and Vericut programming tools.\nInterpret blueprints and schematics to create detailed machining instructions.\nUtilize GD&T principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.\nOperate CNC lathe and milling machines while adhering to safety standards.\nConduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify part dimensions.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.\nTroubleshoot and resolve programming issues during production runs.\nMaintain documentation of CNC programs, tooling setups, and process improvements.\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum 3 years experience in a job shop environment.\nProficient in CNC programming with hands-on experience in machining environments.\nExperience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and CATIA for design purposes.\nExperience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.\nSkills\nStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.\nUnderstanding of geometry and math principles relevant to precision manufacturing.\nKnowledge of tooling requirements for various machining processes is essential.
