In this role you will get to engage in cloud technologies of AWS and Azure database platforms .\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nMaintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.\nPerform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and updates.\nImplement and maintain database security measures.\nControl access permissions and privileges.\nWork with senior DBAs, developers, and other IT staff to support database needs.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nUnderstanding of popular DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.\nFamiliarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.\nBasic understanding of database security practices, including user permissions and encryption.\nBasic knowledge of operating systems, particularly those commonly used for database servers (e.g., Linux, Windows Server).\nFamiliarity with database management tools and utilities (e.g., pgAdmin, SQL Server Management Studio).\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBasic scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks.\nBasic understanding of networking concepts as they relate to database connectivity and security.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.\nGood verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and document procedures.\nAbility to work collaboratively with other IT staff, developers, and stakeholders.\nEffective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.\nMinimum Clearance Required to Start:\nNot Applicable/None\nThis position is part of our Corporate team.\nWe’re driving the future of the national security and critical infrastructure markets.
