downtown Seneca, SC. We blend authentic, nostalgic, relaxed lake life with modern
Southern charm & style — offering unique apparel, gifts, and varieties of ice cream.

Duties:
● Key-Holding Responsibility: Assistant manager is capable of opening or closing
the store without assistance/presence of manager and performing necessary shift
tasks to ensure success and maintain store standards.
● Leadership/Managing Employees: Can effectively lead a shift of approx. 2-3 other
team members. Can facilitate situations/discussions without escalation.
● Customer Service: Assistant Manager can assist both retail customers and ice
cream patrons with any needs, questions, or concerns. Can help locate or identify
items for customer to purchase (other sizes, give opinions on products, etc)
● Events & Community Presence: Grow our catering/ private events bookings and
foster strong community partnerships.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager to create exceptional
guest experiences and expand the B. Lakeside event presence in the community.
B. Lakeside Assistant Manager Job Posting
Role Expectations:
1. Retail & Operations
● Open / close the store
● Lead shifts with confidence and positivity
● Maintain store standards (cleanliness, merchandising, vibe)
● Assist with inventory oversight and merchandising
● Can help any position- isn’t afraid to scoop an ice cream cone while
managing the floor.
2. Events & Community Growth (Main Focus)
● Proactively grow our private event bookings (birthdays, corporate events,
school groups, etc.)
● Build relationships with local schools, churches, and businesses
● Represent B. Lakeside at community events / markets
● Follow up on event inquiries and manage bookings
● Brainstorm creative ways to fill slower days with private events
*Bonus Structure:
Assistant Manager will receive booking bonuses for confirmed events. The more events
you bring in, the more you earn.
Previous Experience Necessary:
● 2+ year experience in retail, hospitality, service, or leadership
● STRONG verbal and written communication skills
● Organized and self-motivated
● Comfortable managing a team
● Available 24–32 hours per week (Thursday-Saturday)
● Interested in growing with a new and expanding brand

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
