Job Title: Benefits AdministratorCompany: Red Tail AcquisitionsLocation: Irvine, CA (remote)Status: Full-Time, Non-ExemptStarting Pay: $28.00 per hour, Depending On Experience Supervisor: Payroll and Benefits ManagerPosition OverviewThe Benefits Administrator is responsible for the overall management and administration of the organization’s employee benefits programs. This role serves as the central point of ownership for benefits operations, employee support, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance. The Benefits Administrator ensures accurate program administration, provides exceptional employee service, and maintains compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plansOversee benefit enrollments, qualifying life event changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment processesMaintain accurate benefits data within the HRIS and ensure timely reconciliation of carrier invoicesServe as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional mannerPartner with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure effective program administrationEnsure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, and HIPAACoordinate and administer leave of absence and disability programsSupport payroll processes related to benefit deductions, audits, and reportingLead benefits orientations and develop clear, effective employee communicationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in benefits administration or related HR roleStrong knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulationsExperience with HRIS systems and payroll integrationExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsHigh level of confidentiality and attention to detailAbility to work independently in a remote environmentReliable internet connection and dedicated workspace requiredRed Tail Acquisitions is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.#RTA
