This position is in a high-paced and demanding environment which requires clear time management skills, self-directed organizational skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a self-starter, self-disciplined with their work, and often going above and beyond what is needed/requested. Furthermore, as a global company, this role will work alongside many IT associates with a multi-cultural and multi-lingual background with English as a second language.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\nTechnical lead for our Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). Create and maintain AAP playbooks for automated disaster recovery and Linux operational work.\nProvide operational support of the companies ~600 Linux based servers. This includes both OnPrem and Cloud based servers. Including\nProvide server admin support related to resolving break/fix type incidents in the team queue\nInstall, configure, upgrade, patch and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and scalability.\nMonitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.\nWork closely with network engineers, SAP engineers, database administrators, and application developers.\nParticipate in major IT projects related to the Linux platform.\nParticipating in Security, Vulnerability and Patching related initiatives for Linux Platform\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience\n8 years of IT experience\n5 years of UNIX (SLES and RHEL Linux, AIX a plus) Server experience\n5 years of Ansible experience.\nFlexibility to work nights and weekends, participating in on-call rotations\nExpertise in Creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks.\nExpertise in SLES, RHEL and AIX OS support\nProficiency in shell scripting and automation.\nExperience with Azure\nNo Immigration Sponsorship available\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with SUSE Multi-Linux Management\nExperience with containers and Kubernetes\nExperience with supporting SLES for SAP.\nGCP and AWS Cloud experience.\n\nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
