Maintenance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and overall operational efficiency. This role oversees a team of skilled technicians (mechanics and electricians) and is responsible for driving preventive maintenance programs, minimizing downtime, and supporting production performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on timePlan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize uptime and productivityMonitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvementsManage labor, overtime, maintenance budgets, inventory, and third-party repair vendorsConduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure quality and compliance with company and regulatory standardsPartner with Operations to minimize unplanned downtime while meeting production goalsAnalyze equipment failures and implement root cause solutions to improve long-term reliabilityMaintain accurate maintenance records and utilize CMMS systems for tracking and reportingOversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee developmentEnsure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulationsTechnical ScopeThis role supports a wide range of industrial equipment, including:Conveying systems, balers, compactors, and processing equipmentHydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systemsBulk material handling and production equipmentQualificationsRequired:3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar leadership role in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environmentStrong knowledge of OSHA safety standards (LOTO, HazCom, Fire Safety, etc.)Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and P&IDsExperience managing preventive maintenance programs and maintenance teamsPreferred:Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance software (CMMS)Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skillsBudgeting and financial management experienceExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesWelding and hands-on troubleshooting experience
