In this role, you will collaborate directly with our high-performing data science and analysis teams to operationalize machine learning models and automate large-scale simulation pipelines. Your focus will be on engineering: designing robust CI/CD pipelines and performing hands-on systems engineering to build, maintain, and scale our development, testing, and simulation environments. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting critical modeling and simulation efforts for national security!\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of machine learning models and software components into simulation environments.\n\nCollaborate with data scientists and analysts to automate model training, testing, data versioning, and experimentation workflows.\n\nBuild, configure, and manage large-scale development and test environments to support robust modeling, simulation, and experimentation workloads.\n\nUse configuration management and infrastructure automation tools to efficiently provision and manage testbed and simulation resources.\n\nParticipate in technical interchange meetings with team members and U.S. government customers, providing infrastructure expertise to support modeling and simulation goals.\n\nContribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement.\n\nRequired Clearance:\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\n\nMust have an active TS/SCI clearance\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, MLOps, or Systems Engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure automation, environment build-outs, and pipeline development; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nHands-on experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).\n\nProficiency with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to manage large-scale simulation and test environments.\n\nProficiency in Python or Bash for building automation scripts, data connectors, and tooling.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\n\nExperience supporting simulation-heavy workflows or automating data ingest/egress for tools like AFSIM (no AFSIM coding experience necessary).\n\nFamiliarity with MLOps frameworks and model registries (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).\n\nKnowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.\n\nExperience handling real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka).\n\nInterest in professional growth and learning new technologies.\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\n\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.\n\nThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.\n\nThe Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
