Candidates must be capable of working safely in demanding shipyard conditions and successfully passing all pre-employment requirements.\n\n#IND123\n\nResponsibilities\nPerform structural welding on ship hulls, decks, bulkheads, foundations, and other marine structures.\nRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and work instructions.\nUtilize various welding processes, including FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW as required.\nEnsure all welds meet shipyard, customer, and regulatory quality standards.\nOperate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.\nInspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and shipyard safety policies.\nWork collaboratively with supervisors, shipfitters, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.\nQualifications\nMinimum of 3 years of marine structural welding experience preferred.\nPrevious shipyard, marine construction, or heavy industrial welding experience required.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.\nStrong knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and fabrication practices.\nAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.\nPre-Employment Requirements\nAll candidates must:\nSuccessfully pass a hands-on welding test.\nSuccessfully pass a drug screening.\nSuccessfully pass a pre-employment physical examination.\nPossess a valid government-issued photo identification.\nBe legally authorized to work in the United States.\nComply with all shipyard security and access requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.\nAbility to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and industrial environments.\nWhy Join Elite Workforce LLC?\nElite Workforce LLC is committed to providing skilled trades professionals with rewarding opportunities in the maritime industry.
