(EDT) is an employee-owned forensic engineering and technical consulting firm with 45+ years of experience serving industrial, insurance, and legal clients nationwide.\nAbout the Role\nServes as the Engineer-In-Charge (“EIC”) managing and conducting investigations involving residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, structures, and structural components including roofing, foundations and building envelopes.\nPerforms structural analysis, hazard and damage assessments, lab and field testing of construction materials, design and construction defect evaluations, and premise liability evaluations.\nQualifications and skills\nStrong interpersonal skills;\nExcellent oral and written communication skills;\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities;\nA high degree of integrity, honesty and moral values adhering to the Professional Engineer Code of Ethics;\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team environment;\nA collaborative demeanor with the ability to work through conflict, differing perspectives and opinions, and communicate across differing backgrounds and education levels;\nAbility to travel out-of-town, with periodic overnight travel required;\nHave strong PC, Tablet and software skills, including:\nMS Office® - Word, Excel, PowerPoint required;\nAdobe Acrobat DC®, Bluebeam Revu®, or comparable PDF software;\nB.S. or M.S.
