Our dedicated team of IT professionals manage systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure our clients are able to work efficiently, all while minimizing business downtime.\nThe level 2 Technician will help us solve more complex issues that require considerable knowledge of servers, virtualization and layer 2 networking. Ensuring client satisfaction and resolving issues are essential in this position.\nJOB DUTIES:\n*Provide tech support in person, over the phone or via remote access for issues related to computer systems software, hardware, patching, etc.\n*Be an escalation point for level 1 technicians to provide guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks\n*Diagnose issues to find best practice solutions\n*Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for solutions to ongoing issues\n*Tailor communication style and troubleshooting delivery to match knowledge or skill level of end user\n*Create documentation and provide feedback on existing documentation\n*Track and enter time quickly and accurately\n*Set up, configure and troubleshoot servers, computers, and networking equipment\n*Serve as part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support\n*Work in a flexible and collaborative manner\n*Ensure confidentiality and security of all information\n*Multi-tasking and maintaining organization\n*Experience: Knowledge gained through working on business IT systems\n*Patience: Demonstrate patience when our clients don't understand industry jargon\n*Empathetic: Empathetic to our clients' situations and understanding of their frustrations\n*Organized: Organized to increase productivity and maximize efficiency\n*Willing to learn: Eager to learn and enhance your technical skills\n*Collaborative: Willing to provide guidance to your fellow coworkers\n*Google-fu: If you don't know the answer, you are an expert at using the right key words to find it\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n*2+ yrs. experience in IT/help desk support\n*Exp w/Microsoft Windows Server roles & features\n*Understanding of 2/3 networking configurations\n*Experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace tenants\nHOURS & WAGE\nFull-time, Monday - Friday either 8am - 5 pm or 7am - 4pm.\n*100% employed paid health insurance for employee\n*401(k) with matching retirement\n*Competitive hourly wage ($22+) with OT opportunities\n*Paid time off\n*7 Paid Holidays\n*Partial cellphone reimbursement\nThis employer has asked WorkSource Oregon to perform first round interviews.
