The position ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and assists with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and analysis to support business objectives.\r\nWhat You'll Do:\r\nProcess weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles using Rippling Payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.\r\nReview and validate employee timekeeping records, attendance, overtime, and leave data for payroll accuracy.\r\nCalculate wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and employee reimbursements in compliance with company policies.\r\nEnsure payroll transactions are completed accurately and within established deadlines.\r\nSupport payroll audits by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and assisting with payroll processing activities.\r\nMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, labor, and tax regulations.\r\nReconcile payroll tax filings and assist with payroll-related reporting requirements.\r\nPrepare and distribute W-2 forms and other required tax documents.\r\nGenerate ad hoc payroll reports and analyze payroll data as needed.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nProvide prompt, professional, and efficient payroll support to employees by resolving inquiries related to pay, deductions, taxes, and payroll processes.\r\nWork independently managing multiple payroll cycles, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments across the organization.\r\nCollaborate and work closely with payroll leadership on daily operational planning, process improvements, audits, and special projects to support departmental goals.\r\nMaintain and update payroll databases, spreadsheets, reports, and employee records to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity.\r\nAct as a subject matter expert, for key payroll functions, providing guidance, training, and process support to the team and business.\r\nAdminister employee wage garnishments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining accurate payroll deductions.\r\nManage leave-of-absence payroll processes, including payment calculations, reconciliations, and coordination with benefits and HR Ops.\r\nPerform payroll reconciliations and audits to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records.\r\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\r\nBachelor's degree – Preferred not required.\r\n5+ years of professional experience in payroll.\r\nProficient computer skills, including Excel.\r\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\r\nExperience with Rippling Payroll.\r\nExperience with enterprise level payroll.\r\nExperience processing payroll for a large company, operating in multiple locations and states.\r\nUnderstanding of multi-state taxation.\r\nExperience with payroll processing related to stock transactions.\r\nAbility to analyze high volume of transactions and data.\r\nExcellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.\r\nBenefits for Full-time Employees\r\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees.\r\n401k.\r\nRelocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.\r\nFlexible vacation policy.\r\nEquity.\r\nITAR Requirements\r\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
