{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"819ce8f765f8a87d3b8beadc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/819ce8f765f8a87d3b8beadc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/819ce8f765f8a87d3b8beadc","title":"PBMC Processing Technician","description":"PBMC Processing TechnicianLaboratoryHouston , Texas, USAdded - 04/06/2026Pay Rate Low: 28.00 | Pay Rate High: 40.00A leading biotech organization is seeking a PBMC Processing Technician with clinical laboratory experience to join a high‐impact team supporting therapeutic research!Pay: $28-$40/hrSchedule: M–F 8a–5pLocation: Houston, TXWhat You'll DoPerform PBMC isolation using Ficoll or similar density‐gradient methods, including independent enrichment and manual/automated cell counts.Support Flow cytometry, IHC, and other cell‐based assays across multiple project types.Process clinical samples and execute assays according to SOPs while contributing to method development and optimization.Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory instrumentation; assist with basic cell‐culture maintenance.Run QC samples, analyze data, and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.Manage reagent and consumable inventory and perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.Partner with scientists to qualify assays for new studiesCollaborate with QA to ensure adherence to CLIA, GLP, GCP, and internal quality standards.Help train new team members on assays, workflows, and SOPs.Contribute to a positive, efficient, and high‐performing lab environment.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related discipline.Hands‐on PBMC processing experience is required.Working knowledge of GLP, CAP/CLIA, and ISO laboratory standards.We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
