Conduct and validate carious chemical quality control (QC) assays. Compile, interpret, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.\nYou will be located at PPG's Circleville, OH plant, and report to Supervisor Quality Assurance. Paid training is provided!\nKey Responsibilities:\nTest for raw materials, in-process and finished goods materials\nAnalytical tests include acid/base titrations, hydroxyl, and epoxy equivalency titrations, percent total neutralization, percent water value, precent solids value, Brookfield or Garder viscosity values, GC and GPC testing, particle and zeta size testing, density and conductivity testing\nMaintain area organization and cleanliness\nCertificate of analysis generation for outgoing material shipments\nMonitor lab email for temporary process notes and lab work requests\nQualifications:\nHigh-school diploma required\nKnowledge of Chemistry\nPreferably up to 2 years of professional work experience\nPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
