They are a small but growing team dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the immigration process with care, precision, and integrity. As the firm continues to expand, they are seeking a proactive and experienced Immigration Paralegal (Virtual Assistant) to join the team and support the attorneys in delivering exceptional service to their clientsAbout the Role:The Immigration Paralegal (Virtual Assistant) will provide high-level administrative and legal support in all aspects of immigration law. This remote role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with U.S. immigration processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documents for family-based and employment-based cases.Draft client correspondence, affidavits, and legal cover letters under attorney supervision.Maintain and organize digital case files and client records.Communicate professionally with clients to gather information, provide updates, and clarify documentation requirements.Manage deadlines, case timelines, and status reports to ensure timely filings and compliance with USCIS (example i130) and other agency requirements.Support attorneys in preparing case submissions and follow-ups.Handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, document tracking, and client database management.Legal research may be required upon clients request.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum of 2 years working as an Immigration Paralegal or in a similar legal support role, preferably with experience handling USCIS forms and filings.Critical thinking skillsFully bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency required), with a preference for candidates familiar with Mexican Spanish, to better relate to the firm’s client base.Education: Certified licensed Attorney focused on Immigration LawTechnical Skills:Proficiency with case management and document automation systems.Strong command of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
