In this role, you will utilize your analytical and technical expertise to support the technology development and maturation activities associated with nuclear enterprise and policy issues. You will also identify requirements and opportunities for analysis and data development related to issues associated with nuclear security.You will work a hybrid work schedule, include 3 days onsite at the DOE Headquarters building (Forrestal), located in downtown Washington, DC. The other 2 days may be worked remotely.What You Will Do Provide technical assistance, consultation, and support to office leadership. Support the development of technical strategic plans and requirements analysis. Provide analysis, reviews, and technical assistance on new or unusually complex technical issues related to nuclear security. Coordinate reviews input from subject matter experts, program managers and staff for development of technology maturation tasks. Act as liaison with external organizations for technical matters related to nuclear security as required. Lead and directs interdisciplinary teams to analyze and evaluate technical activities related to nuclear security coordinating with the program team. Develop reports, memoranda, presentations, and other documentation. Review reports and present projects status and results to leadership.What You Will Need Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance. 5 or more years of technical analysis experience. Nuclear weapons experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience with technical experts. PhD preferred. Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn. Strong organizational and written communication skills.
