Individuals we employ must have a demonstrated ability to excel in high-pressure situations which have a real impact on the modern world so we can continue to keep pace with the competition and the evolving fields of technology.\n\nCurrently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:\n\nSoftware Engineer\nLocation: McLean, VA (on-site client environment)\nClearance: TS/SCI with polygraph\nCompensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits\n\nOnly applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.\n\nAs a Software Engineer, you will provide your development expertise to mission-critical projects that create new services and applications to support collaboration across the organization. You will work as part of a team creating high-performance web applications, and incorporating AI-powered solutions.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nMust maintain an active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.\nExperience translating customer and system requirements into software design.\nDemonstrated experience with parallel and concurrent programming.\nExperience with the Rust programming language.\nStrong understanding of web development principles and best practices.\nDemonstrated experience with web frameworks in Rust (i.e. Actix, Rocket, or Warp), as well as familiarity with WebAssembly (Wasm) for client-side Rust code.\nExperience with learning libraries in Rust (such as rust-bert, and linfa).\nDemonstrated experience with database systems and ORM tools (e.g. Diesel).\nA deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, as well as version control systems such as Git.\nAn understanding of AI concepts and algorithms, and how to integrate AI models into already existing web applications.\nThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
