{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"80f166e645a7a6809924c43d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/80f166e645a7a6809924c43d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/80f166e645a7a6809924c43d","title":"Process Engineer (2nd Shift)","description":"SUMMARY\nResponsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process by performing the following duties.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCommunicates on a regular basis with Engineering / Quality / MFG Management\nFollows directives from Engineering Manager concerning process improvement and implementation objectives to meet customer and/or future customer requirements and/or other similar activities\nEvaluate and implement improvements on processes in manufacturing systems\nEnsure projects are completed on time\nResearch and propose new manufacturing technology\nUtilize problem solving skills for process improvement on the production floor\nProvide guidance and advice to management and/or other groups on technical systems or process related to topics.\nRecommend innovative solutions\nMicrosoft office / familiar with CAD CAM programs\nDesirable knowledge about programs like Siemens / FANUC / Allen Bradley / Fagor\nKnowledge about GD&T / PCDmis / CMM report analysis-directions\nDemonstrate good communication skills\nIdentify the educational needs of others as related to process improvements and be able to provide instruction in these areas\nAble to travel when required / Attend trade shows and other similar events\nLean manufacturing knowledge, and/or ability to learn and apply requirements\nActive participate in employee training programs\nActive participant in company meetings as required\nActive participant in 5-S activities / Kaizen / PDCA / SDCA\nAdhere to all company policies, rules and procedures\nKnowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices.
