Additionally, DRS Marlo Coil is positioned for significant growth in the Industrial/Commercial markets.\nFor more information on Leonardo DRS, please visit www.leonardodrs.com, and for more information on our Commercial/Industrial business, please visit: www.marlocoil.com.\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsible and accountable for setting up and operating break machine.\nReading and interpreting blueprints, setting up dimensions, different size bends, moving completed product from machine into holding area.\nResponsible for changing dies on machine, producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.\nFollow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)\nProperly use required PPE\nMay participate in LEAN Events, “Six S” activities, action teams etc\nSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization\nOperate a variety of machine tools; fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout and machining procedures\nStudy specifications such as blueprint, sketch, damaged part, or description of part to be replaced to determine dimensions and tolerances of pieces to be machined, sequence of operations, and tools, materials, and machines required\nMeasure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining\nVerify conformance of work piece to specifications using measuring instruments\nMay operate mechanism of machine, observe operation, or test with inspection equipment to diagnose malfunction or to test repaired machine\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
