These positions are part of innovative, collaborative teams responsible for designing, developing, and supporting advanced manufacturing and assembly processes.\n\nWhile both roles share a common technical foundation, one opening is focused on NPI and one opening is focused on Sustaining / manufacturing support. Placement will be based on experience and business need.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nDesign, develop and support controls solutions for manufacturing\n\nSupport machines in a manufacturing environment\n\nDesign electrical and control panels\n\nDevelop PLC, HMI, and related automation programs\n\nPerform debugging, tuning, and performance optimization\n\nSupport SAT, postinstallation support, and troubleshooting\n\nDevelop documentation (SOPs, user manuals, troubleshooting guides)\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable standards\n\nWork directly with internal stakeholders (production, quality, maintenance)\n\nCollaborate with automation, manufacturing, and IT/OT team\n\nRole Focus Areas\nControls Engineer - NPI\n\nDesign and support controls solutions for new manufacturing and assembly processes\n\nTranslate process requirements into automation and controls specifications\n\nSupport equipment build, installation, and global launch activities\n\nTravel 10-30% domestically and internationally\n\nControls Engineer - Sustaining\n\nSupport and troubleshoot existing manufacturing equipmentImprove performance, reliability, and safety of installed automation systems\n\nPartner closely with production and maintenance teams\n\nTravel approximately 10-15% domestically\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nAbility to support required travel based on role (NPI: 10-30% domestic + international / Sustaining: 10-15% domestic)\n\nAssociate of Applied Science in Electronics or Related Field\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nB.S. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field\n\n3+ years of industrial experience with PLC, HMI, servo controls, and automation systems\n\nMachine vision experience\n\nExperience with platforms such as Beckhoff, AllenBradley, Yaskawa, Ignition\n\nThis role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship or transfer.\n\nEqual Opportunities\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.\n\nOur Benefits\nOur goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
