Every finished piece should communicate craftsmanship, credibility, attention to detail, and the experience of working with a premium construction partner.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nCurate Construction Group is looking for an ambitious, creative videographer and video content creator who wants meaningful hands-on experience and the opportunity to build a strong professional portfolio. This is an excellent role for an emerging filmmaker with a distinctive visual point of view, a sense of humor, and the drive to turn real construction projects into engaging stories.\n\nThe right person understands how camera angles, lighting, composition, movement, sound, pacing, and transitions work together to capture attention. You should be interested in producing content in several styles, including cinematic advertisements, documentary style project stories, educational series, customer-focused videos, behind-the-scenes features, and humor-driven social content.\n\nThis is a full-time, field-oriented position based in Grapevine, Texas. Approximately % travel to active project sites throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area is expected.\n\nApplicants must have a valid driver’s license, their own reliable car, and the ability to travel as project schedules require.\n\nThis opportunity is especially well suited to a talented person who is early in their career and wants to develop a substantial body of professional work. Selection will be based on creative ability, portfolio quality, professionalism, reliability, and fit with the role.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\n* Film residential and commercial outdoor construction projects from early-stage work through final reveals.\n* Create premium visual content that communicates craftsmanship, value, transformation, and customer experience.\n* Capture interviews, construction activity, project details, before-and-after stories, team interactions, and cinematic establishing shots.\n* Develop original concepts for advertisements, recurring online video series, mini documentaries, educational content, social videos, and tasteful humor-driven content. *Select effective camera angles, lighting setups, framing, camera movement, audio approaches, and transitions for each story.*\n* Collaborate with company leadership, sales staff, project teams, customers, and on camera talent.\n* Help develop shot lists, storyboards, interview questions, content outlines, and production plans.\n* Organize footage and maintain a dependable, searchable media library. *Capture footage suitable for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, company websites, and paid digital advertising.*\n* Assist with video editing when appropriate to your skill set and the company’s evolving content-production needs.\n* Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional presence at active construction sites and customers’ properties.\n* Care for, organize, and properly operate company-provided production equipment.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\n* A creative storyteller with a strong visual eye, original ideas, and a good sense of humor.\n* Working knowledge of composition, lighting, camera angles, movement, audio capture, and visual transitions.\n* An understanding of how premium products and high-value services should be presented on camera.\n* The ability to combine polished brand storytelling with authentic documentary moments and tasteful humor.\n* Strong communication, organization, dependability, and time-management skills. *Confidence offering creative direction while remaining open to collaboration and feedback.*\n* The ability to work independently and capture both planned shots and spontaneous moments.\n* Comfort working outdoors, visiting active construction sites, and filming in varying weather conditions.\n* Willingness and ability to travel approximately % of the time to project locations throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.\n* A valid driver’s license, personal car, and reliable transportation are required. *A bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.*\n* Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software is preferred but not required.\n* Drone videography experience is preferred but not required. Curate Construction Group owns a drone, and operating skills can be taught. Any commercial drone operation must follow applicable certification and safety requirements.\n* Experience with photography, motion graphics, audio production, color grading, or social media content is a plus.\n\nEquipment\n\nCurate Construction Group will purchase and provide the core camera, audio, lighting, stabilization, storage, and related production equipment required for the position. The company also owns a drone. Applicants are not expected to provide their own professional production equipment, although they should describe the equipment and software they have previously used.\n\nEditing Expectations\n\nThe immediate emphasis of this role is filming, visual storytelling, and developing a consistent production process. Video editing ability is preferred but is not required for consideration.
