Important Notes:Initial training may take place Monday – Wednesday from 3:30 PM – 2:00 AMCandidates available only Thursday – Saturday for training may still be consideredThursday shift is guaranteed; Friday and Saturday schedules depend on trainer availabilityAerospace or controlled-environment documentation experience is highly preferredJob Overview:Parker is seeking a skilled Test Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis on electro-mechanical and electronic equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electronics testing experience, soldering knowledge, and familiarity with aerospace or high-quality manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform mechanical and electromechanical testing on electronic components and assembliesConduct troubleshooting and failure analysis on analog and digital circuitry to component levelUse oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, and other testing equipmentSet up and operate test equipment according to specifications and proceduresReview schematic drawings, shop travelers, and route cards to verify testing sequencesTroubleshoot customer-returned units and verify circuit functionality using schematics and printsDocument detailed failure descriptions and root cause analysis findings for engineering and production teamsMaintain accurate testing records and controlled documentationFollow company safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areasSupport production schedules including nights, weekends, and overtime as neededRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of related electronics testing or troubleshooting experienceStrong electrical and microelectronics backgroundExperience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic toolsFamiliarity with electronic assembly standards, solder quality, and basic rework practicesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagramsGood written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Windows applicationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with ESD control proceduresIPC certification or soldering/assembly experience preferredAbility to interpret BOMs, assembly drawings, and wiring schematicsExperience in aerospace or controlled manufacturing environments preferredVocational training, apprenticeship, or technical education in electronics or related field preferredIdeal Candidate:Candidates with experience in electronics testing, avionics, aerospace manufacturing, soldering, circuit troubleshooting, electromechanical assembly, quality testing, or failure analysis are encouraged to apply.
