You'll work closely with Product, UX, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver modern software solutions for clients across multiple industries.\nIf you're someone who enjoys ownership, continuous learning, and shipping software you're proud of, we'd love to talk.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.\nBuild and enhance backend services using C# and .NET.\nDesign, consume, and improve RESTful APIs.\nCollaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps throughout the development lifecycle.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.\nParticipate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.\nImprove application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.\nContribute ideas that make both our products and our engineering team stronger.\nWhat We're Looking For\n2+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.\nExperience with Jetpack Compose or traditional Android Views, Android Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.\nExperience with Retrofit or similar networking libraries.\nExperience building or consuming REST APIs.\nExperience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core/.NET 8 preferred).\nSolid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.\nExperience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.\nFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.\nStrong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.\nNice to Have\nExperience with any of the following is a plus:\nJetpack Compose\nCoroutines and Flow\nEspresso or other automated testing frameworks\nReact\nJavaScript/TypeScript\nDocker\nAWS or Azure\nCI/CD pipelines\nAnalytics and application telemetry\nWhy Tiny Home Consulting?\nWe're passionate about building great software, but we're equally passionate about building a great place to work.\nSmall, highly collaborative engineering team\nWork directly with Product, UX, and QA\nMeaningful ownership and influence over technical decisions\nModern development practices and tools\nOpportunities to learn new technologies and grow your career\nCompetitive compensation and benefits\nFast hiring process with quick decisions\nRelocation\nThis position is based in our West Chester, Ohio office.
