Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode that enables the highest energy density cell commercially available in the industry.SummaryThe Sr. Technician, Assembly & Quality, has expert assembly skills to set-up process equipment correctly, inspect product, audit builds, and train and certify technicians. The candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and an ability to learn quickly. This is a TEMP to PERM role.Job ResponsibilitiesCan correctly set-up basic production machinesInspect cells are various stages of assembly and verify equipment set-upAudit the cell assembly process and identify discrepancies from the standard operating procedureUse small equipment and hand tools to produce components and battery cells.Operate large equipment safely and efficientlyMeasure materials with micrometer, mass scale, digital multi-meter, caliper, and other basic equipment.Visually evaluate defects from a list of standard defects and based on general understanding of the product.Input data into quality management softwareAssemble components into a physically complete cell.RequirementsUnderstands product function and quality requirementsAble to train and coach other technicians in a constructive wayFollow standard work instructions and recommend improvementsCollaborates with engineers and managers to identify and remedy quality problemsIntermediate level computer skills and ability to enter data accuratelyTakes responsibility for product qualityHighly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.Education and Experience2+ years of experience in ManufacturingHigh School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Required.
