We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.\nWe're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.\nThe E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products at high rate and high precision.\nWhat you'll be doing: Stage, set up, assemble, test, and install satellite flight hardware\nUse various mechanical and precision calibrated tools including automated and manual torque wrenches\nHands on operations with both large and small mechanical assemblies\nPerform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions\nEnsure product quality and conformance to specifications\nEnsure all production services are performed on time, safely and in a professional manner\nPerform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment\nCollaborate with production engineers to develop and document activities\nSupport troubleshooting of hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback to eliminate repeat issues\nWhat you will bring to this role: High school diploma or equivalency certificate\n1+ year of experience working in electrical or mechanical test environment or performing electrical or mechanical installations\nMust be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed\nStanding for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position\nMust be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted\nExtra points for the following: 3+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military or other high-volume operating environment preferred\nSkill in operating machinery and various tools requiring manual dexterity\nExperience with forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment a plus\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment\nExcellent attention to detail and an insistence on permanently correcting errors\nA demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, manuals and reports\nAirframe and Powerplant (A&P) schooling\n$0 - $0 a year\nThis is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX facility.\nWe are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used - so we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience.
