Serves as a mentor to security supervisors and officers while ensuring the effective delivery of security and fire protection services.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nEnsures compliance with client requirements, site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Inter-Con policies and procedures, and all applicable regulations.\nCarries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.\nEvaluates risks and ensures adequate staffing and coverage for assigned site(s), including compliance with post orders, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.\nAdvises management of emergency situations and ensures personnel respond appropriately and in accordance with established procedures.\nResearches and recommends best practices, process improvements, and operational initiatives; ensures company policies and procedures are implemented and followed.\nInterfaces with client management to discuss security and fire services, identify areas of concern, provide recommendations, and implement corrective actions. Supports theft prevention and loss prevention initiatives and tracks related activities through completion.\nAssists in the selection, onboarding, development, and retention of personnel in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.\nProvides emergency response guidance to management and ensures security personnel respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.\nEnsures security staffing schedules are developed and maintained to meet contractual and operational requirements.\nEnsures personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform assigned duties.\nCoordinates with regional and corporate security leadership regarding operational progress, ongoing issues, and the consistent application of policies and procedures.\nConducts quarterly and annual reviews utilizing established compliance and quality assurance processes. Maintains corrective action plans and recommendations.\nConducts annual site vulnerability assessments and provides recommendations regarding operations, policies, procedures, and technology applications.\nEnsures accurate billing and invoicing for security services and conducts periodic audits to verify compliance.\nMonitors compliance with regulatory, safety, and fire protection requirements.\nDevelops, maintains, and coordinates effective communication with local emergency responders and public safety agencies.\nEnsures the consistent administration of client service agreements, company policies, and applicable labor agreements.\nMaintains records and documentation in accordance with company record retention policies and client requirements.\nMaintains confidentiality and exercises discretion regarding sensitive information.\nPerforms multiple functions simultaneously while effectively prioritizing assignments and operational demands.\nRecommends improvements to workflows, reporting procedures, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving initiatives.\nOrganizes workload to ensure effective implementation of responsibilities and projects.\nResponds to site emergencies and directs security operations as necessary. Ensures personnel respond appropriately in accordance with site procedures and company policies.\nResponds to fire emergencies as part of the site’s emergency response or fire brigade team and assists in controlling or extinguishing incipient-stage fires using appropriate equipment.\nEnsures incidents are reported, documented, investigated, and communicated in accordance with company and client procedures.
